The Microsoft antitrust trial,
DOJ vs. the freedom to imitate & control...

Microsoft’s been found guilty of illegally using its monopoly to force its software on consumers, harming innovative competitors. Microsoft characterizes the case as the DOJ vs. the freedom to innovate. Let’s see, first they imitated the innovative Mac OS. Then they imitated the innovative Netscape Navigator. Finally they used Windows to force Explorer on consumers. It looks more like the DOJ vs. the freedom to imitate & control. It’s actually in Microsoft’s best interest to lose this case. After all, if they kill off all their innovative competitors, what will they have left to imitate?  -NineOh
